How much does a business website cost in India?
Published 2026 guides put small business websites at roughly ₹10,000 to ₹80,000 and professional business websites at about ₹80,000 to ₹1,50,000, excluding GST (Hostinger India, updated February 2026). How much does an e-commerce website cost in India?
Agency-built online stores are commonly quoted from about ₹1,50,000 to ₹4,00,000 or more according to Hostinger India's 2026 guide, with smaller freelancer-built WooCommerce stores costing less. Product count, payment and shipping integrations and product data entry drive the price.
What ongoing expenses should I expect after launch?
Domain renewal, hosting and any premium plugin or theme licences every year, plus maintenance if you choose a plan. Online stores also pay payment gateway fees. We list these separately in every quote.
How long does a website take to build?
A straightforward business website usually takes a few weeks; stores and custom projects take longer. The biggest factor is often how quickly content and feedback are ready. Your proposal includes a schedule with milestones.
Do you require payment upfront?
Payment milestones are set out in your written proposal and agreed before work starts, so you'll know every amount and when it's due.
Platforms and features
Do I need WordPress or custom development?

What is the difference between web design and web development?
Design decides how the website looks and how information is arranged. Development builds it so it works: code, content management, forms, speed, integrations and technical SEO. Most business websites need both, planned together.
What is included in professional website development?

What should a small business website include?

Can you add WhatsApp chat to my website?
Yes. A WhatsApp button opens a chat with your business number and a pre-written message, on both mobile and desktop, without any paid plugin.
SEO and visibility
How do I know whether my website is SEO-friendly?
Each important page should have a unique title and description, one clear main heading, a clean URL, fast loading on mobile and a place in your XML sitemap. Google Search Console shows whether pages are indexed and flags problems.
Can one developer handle both design and SEO?
Yes. Handling both together is often better, because many SEO decisions, such as page structure, URLs and headings, are made during design and development.
Will a new website rank on Google straight away?
Usually not. A new website needs to be crawled and indexed, and rankings build over time with useful content and genuine mentions from other websites. A strong SEO foundation helps it get there faster.
Can you guarantee first-page rankings?
No. Search engines decide rankings and change their systems regularly. Anyone guaranteeing first-page results is promising something they don't control. We commit to doing the work properly and reporting honestly.
How can I redesign my website without losing search visibility?
Record every existing URL and the pages that get traffic, keep important URLs where possible, set up 301 redirects for any that change and monitor Search Console after launch. Our website redesign checklist covers each step.
Ownership, handover and support
Who owns my website after it's built?
You do. Once the project is paid for as agreed, the domain, hosting, content and admin logins belong to your business. Third-party themes and plugins stay under their own licences.
What should I receive at website handover?
Admin login, hosting and domain account details, a list of plugins and licences, backup details, Search Console access and simple notes on editing your main pages.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes, if it's built on a CMS such as WordPress. We show you how to edit text, images and posts at handover.
Do you provide hosting?
We help you choose and set up hosting in your own name, so you stay in control and pay the provider directly.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes: changes on request, or a maintenance plan covering updates, backups, monitoring and content changes.
