Why websites underperform
Is Your Website Bringing You Customers, or Losing Them?
Most business websites don't fail because of their colours. They fail because visitors can't find what they need, can't use the site comfortably on a phone, or can't see how to get in touch. These are the problems we look for first, and what we do about each one.
The design looks out of date
A dated look makes a capable business seem out of touch, and many visitors leave before reading a word.
What we do: a clean, current design built around your brand, your services and the questions your customers actually ask.
Pages load slowly
Oversized images, sliders and too many plugins make pages slow, especially on mobile data.
What we do: compressed images, lean code and fewer third-party scripts, checked with PageSpeed Insights before launch.
It's awkward to use on a phone
Tiny text, cramped buttons and sideways scrolling push phone visitors straight back to the search results.
What we do: layouts designed for phones first, with readable text and buttons that are easy to tap.
There's no clear way to enquire
If the phone number is buried or the form quietly fails, interested people give up and contact someone else.
What we do: call, WhatsApp and quote buttons on every page, and an enquiry form we test end to end before launch.
Services are crammed onto one page
A single page listing everything can't rank for each service or answer the specific questions buyers have.
What we do: a dedicated page for each main service, with its own content, FAQs and call to action.
Updating it needs a developer every time
Changing a price, a photo or an address shouldn't mean waiting days for someone else to do it.
What we do: an easy-to-manage CMS such as WordPress where it suits, plus a walkthrough of how to edit your pages.
Google can't make sense of it
Missing titles, duplicate pages and thin content make it hard for search engines to understand what you offer and where.
What we do: keyword-to-page planning, clean URLs, unique metadata, internal links and structured data from day one.
Nobody is sure who owns what
Some businesses discover they don't have the login to their own domain, hosting or website when they need to make a change.
What we do: domain, hosting and admin access set up in your name, with a written handover of every login.
